Rapid Prototype Manufacturing (RPM)
Rapid prototype manufacturing (RPM) through quick turn machining or 3D printing encourages iterative design methodologies that allow engineers and designers alike increased flexibility during the manufacturing process. When a CAD model on a 2D screen isn't sufficient, rapid prototyping produces valuable feedback in a physical form.
Ideal candidates for Roncelli's RPM program are projects are projects that require no more than 50 hours of machining and/or printing.
Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)
In addition to our quick turn machining capabilities, we recently invested in fused deposition modeling technology (FDM), which is an additive manufacturing technology involved in 3D printing. Typical applications include modeling, prototyping, and production manufacturing. Our state-of-the-art Fortus 450mc 3D printers provide our customers parts in a time-sensitive manner without sacrificing quality.
