Over 20 years ago our client Data Products, came to us with a part request we thought seemed impossible to fabricate. George Wishart, from Data Products would not take ‘no’ for an answer and was insistent we try something new. With this challenge we would be out of our comfort zone working with new materials and bonding requirements we hadn’t worked with before. With Wishart’s encouragement to take a chance, we proceeded to test it out. “He told us not to be afraid and said, you can do this.” As Gino Roncelli, company’s founder recalled. We went into testing the Platen Bar to get the right contoured shape, finishing and bonding for this metal to plastic assembly. After a few years of testing, we perfected the part. We received thousands of orders for this hefty platen bar which was distributed all over the world; with some of those deliveries going to Ireland and Hong Kong.

“Try something new”

Take a look at the video below of George Wishart’s recent visit back to our facility, where he enjoyed a tour with the CEO, Riley Cole and company founder, Gino Roncelli.

You can never underestimate the value of good wisdom. We took the chance and expanded our capabilities then and we have ever since.  Across all areas of our business now; we invest in new manufacturing techniques, machining capabilities, automation, processes and even in working with diverse parts our client entrust us to make.
